Here at Sparkling Clear Industries, some of the questions we get asked most frequently are what is filtration, and why should we filter our water? We are here to explain to you exactly what it is you need to know when it comes to filtering your water, and why it is so important to do so!
Filters, when applied properly, can be the most important and effective means of removing suspended solids, color, odor, iron, and manganese from water. In its simplest form, it’s the process of solids capture. Water containing objectionable solids is passed through a filter; the filter retains the solids, and releases the now filtered water—also called filtrate—for further use.
Many industrial managers do not have a water industry background, and are admittedly concerned about capital budgets and not wanting to further extend out-sourcing budgets. Questioning the purpose behind water filtration is normal in our line of work. Any productive effort in evaluating a water treatment program will start by answering three fundamental questions:
1) What water quality should the plant start with?
2) What quantity does the operation need?
3) What water quality does the plant finish with?
Once an operator answers these questions and surveys the plant, they are on the right track to achieving positive results. We are here to provide assurances and understanding that adding filtration of water will benefit your plant and solve your problem!
At Sparkling Clear Industries, we take water filtration extremely seriously. We want our customers to get the optimum output from the water in their plant, so we do all we can to go above and beyond for our client. Call us at (713) 956-8900 or email us to schedule a consultation request.
