Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant located in Houston, TX. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and conducting financial audits. The Accountant will also manage budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing financial data to support management decisions. Day-to-day tasks will include processing invoices, maintaining ledgers, and performing month-end and year-end closings.

Qualifications

• Strong financial management skills, including accounting, financial reporting, and auditing
• Experience in budgeting and forecasting
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience in the industrial sector is a plus
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred
